Since few weeks ago, panic is prevailing at the headquarters of the Polisario Front central office, in charge of propaganda and "growing awareness". The office is responsible for managing the Front communication and formatting the guerrilla message. Indeed, the Front leaders are trying by all means to get rid of this new label, according to which a permanent link would exist between the Front and Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQMI) which can be proved through the involvement of Omar Sahraoui - a veteran of the Polisario, converted into Saharan "logistics" - in the abduction of three Spanish humanitarians in Mauritania. Only twenty fours hours after the release of the Spanish hostages, that AQMI attacked Mauritania, in Neema, a city close to the frontiers with Mali. The former elements of the Algerian GSPC did not skimp on the means, willing to make the maximum of victims and damages. Fortunately, the explosion of the car full of explosives launched by a suicide bomber against the barracks of the city, ends up with no more than three people with minor injuries, and the death of the bomber. AQMI was quickly pointed out since the suicide attack against Mauritania happens one month after the Franco-Mauritanian military operation led against the bases of the terrorist organization in Mali. An attack which ended with the murder of 7 persons from the terrorist organization. Nevertheless, Western experts specialized in the Sahel do not exclude the existence of a link with the DRS, the Algerian military intelligence services, especially after the declarations made by the British Jeremy kenaan. For this anthropologist, fine judge of the Sahel zone, AQMI “move according to the interests of the Algerian authority”. Interests which the Algerian military hierarchy considers being burdened in the Spanish hostage’s releasing issue. After all, Algiers is not ready to forgive  Bamako, and certainly not  Nouakchott for having made easier the release of Omar, the Sahrawi. Responsible of kidnapping the two Spanish people, Omar the Sahrawi, known for his relationship with the Polisario, is also considered as AQMI kingpin for all kinds of traffic in the region.

From some security sources close to the Polisario Front Security Department, almost 300 executives from the Guerilla movement are invited in Algiers to take part in a common conference with the Algerian military security “the Security and Intelligence Department (DRS)”, in order to make the Front executives aware of “drifts” in Tindouf camps. From a confession made by a participant, Algerians, under the cover of “growing people’s awareness”, are giving a telling-off to the Polisario security executives, blaming them for the departure of Moustapha Ould Salma Sidi Mouloud, Secretary General of the Front police, towards Morocco, where he has given a press conference announcing its adherence to the Moroccan settlement plan, as well as his willingness to defend it in front of the Polisario leadership.
Another important point held against the Polisario security : their incapacity to hold back the stream of departures from the camps, the main majority of Sahrawis leaving Tindouf go to Morocco while a small part of them join the traffickers operating in the Sahel passage.

In an annex to his contract with the Polisario, published beginning June by the Amercian Justice Department, we came to know that the total fees amount of the lobbying company “Independent diplomat”, managed by Carne Ross, is 461 154 $ for the first trimester of 2010.
The contract , that can be downloaded at this address, shows that this company, which was initially devoted to help the widows and orphans, is in reality a “slot machine” for its founder who is taking the position of an intermediary between the secessionist movements and their sponsors wherever they are.
