« You could have, you could have stopped the economic and military aid ». With these few words, the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and the current President Abdelaziz Bouteflika has just revealed the real nature of his intentions vis-à-vis Morocco, during an interview with Henry Kissinger in December 1975. It is a real choc in the form of exclusive revelations unveiled by the Moroccan weekly Tel Quel, in the wake of the recent declassification of secrete documents relating to the interviews carried out by the American State Secretariat between 1970 and 1976. Indeed, nothing seems to stop the ambitions of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Houari Boumediene, who absolutely wants to link the fate of the Sahrawi people to Qatar, then to the United Arab Emirates, for which he has become a highly remunerated consultant during his exile period in the 80’s...Read more: The duplicity of Abdelaziz Bouteflika exposed thanks to the secret archives of Kissinger
Algeria wants to push the Polisario to conflict
Written by Khalid Ibrahim Khaled Friday, 18 December 2009 15:27
According to sources close to the Polisario Front leadership, phoned by the “Polisario Confidentiel ”, instructions emanating from the Mouradia Palace would have been given to the Polisario Front to push “as far as possible” the “Aminatou card”, in order to block the efforts of the UNO mediator, Christopher Ross, who tries since few days to pick up dialogue threads among Morocco, the Polisario Front and Algeria. As an experimented diplomat, Ross would have phoned the different parties, after the cancellation of his own tour in the region, and the fact that the perspective to go back once again to negotiations gets more and more far. According to the same sources, the Polisario leaders would be unhappy about the position dictated by Algiers as it “might ruin the weak progress achieved during the former rounds”, and generate a “climate of permanent suspicion”.
In fact, by trying to highlight the Aminatou Haidar « case », Algeria tries absolutely to pave a media way to the Sahara issue, before the meeting of the heads of States in Copenhagen, which will completely cannibalize the sit-in of the “camper” of the Polisario.Heavy speculations around the real health state of Aminatou Haidar

It is a real medical valse witnessed by the Spanish authorities concerning the health state of the Polisario Front activist Aminatou Haidar, who has been on hunger strike at Lanzarote airport for almost fifteen days now. In fact, on Sunday 6th of December, the judge of Arrecife has ordered for a forensic examination to determine precisely the health state of Mrs. Haidar, after that her personal doctor had affirmed that she has been in danger. As a sudden turn of events, the doctor mandated by the judge affirms that her state is not “that critical” as it has been implied by her doctor. The judge, doubtful, has ordered a forensic cross-examination, which was also inconclusive. As a reminder, the City Hall of the Canary Islands has asked the judicial authority, Sunday evening, to « take all the necessary measures to guarantee the life and integrity of Aminatou Haidar”, including her “hospitalization”.Read more: Heavy speculations around the real health state of Aminatou Haidar
Exclusive: the Polisario has brought support to Al-Qaida for the kidnapping of three Spanish people
Written by Khalid Ibrahim Khaled Wednesday, 02 December 2009 11:44
According to reliable sources close to the inquiry, the investigation carried out about the kidnapping on November 29th of the three humanitarian people, on the Nouadhibou-Nouakchott road, tends to show that an operational support of the Polisario Front members have been brought to Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM). Relating mainly to the location of the three foreigners itineraries, as well as to the transmission of information concerning their action in Mauritania, the support of the Front Polisario members to the terrorist organization AQIM would create a serious problem to the movement’s image, while Algeria tries by all means to give it credibility.
For many weeks, the Mauritanian authorities had assisted to an escalation of fight against AQIM, with the multiplication of arrests and the strengthening of cooperation with the Niger and Mali. It was thus technically difficult for the terrorist organization to organize such a massive kidnapping without using a logistic basis acquainted with the region, and ready to form an alliance with Islamists in order to diversify their income sources.More Articles...
