The expensive watch was bought from a famous jeweler of Las Palmas de Gran Canarias to whom the emissary of Abdelaziz said "off the records" about his boss. “It is always like that, he trespasses and then he buys a gift to be forgiven”. Indeed, as revealed to “Polisario Confidentiel”, Khadija Hamdi in charge of the “culture” department within the executive of the Polisario Front sees her popularity climbing within the guerrilla and some members of her own “historical” clan are jealous of her fame.
A true war of power has started in the Polisario Front in which Mohammed Abdelaziz will have to play an important role. It is now established that he will not appoint his wife as his “successor” because her “famed” temper is likely to break the current coalition already weakened during the last guerilla’s congress.
